Kathryn was invited to perform at the concluding concert of this year’s Windsor Festival on Sunday 28th September 2014 at Holy Trinity Garrison Church in St Leonards Road. The concert entitled ‘In Flanders Fields’ paid tribute to those who fought in the First World War and was attended by HRH The Earl of Wessex.
Kathryn performed a medley of wartime songs with the Band of the Household Cavalry under the direction of Bandmaster WO1 Colin Hales. Songs included; ‘Pack up your Troubles,’ ‘It’s a long way to Tipperary,’ ‘Those Magnificent Men and their flying Machines!’ and in the second half ‘The Holy City’ and ‘Sleep’ by Ivor Gurney.
