On 3rd December 2011 I was delighted to return to Richmond in North Yorkshire to perform a recital with pianist Daniel Browell. It took place in a lovely concert venue, the Influence Church (formally the Zetland Centre) in the beautiful town of Richmond.
The recital included Handel arias and songs by De Falla, Brahms and Britten and it was a pleasure to be back on the recital stage performing with Daniel again.
I had previously performed for Richmond Subscription Concerts back in 2008 and I had such fond memories of my involvement in their production of 'The Marriage of Figaro' that I had been involved in. It was the first time I had performed the role of Cherubino in English following on from performances of the Royal Northern College of Music's production of 'Le Nozze di Figaro.' Richmondshire Subscription concerts are in their 64th year and were originally founded by Tom Carr. It is such friendly place to perform with lovely people and a warm atmosphere.
Sharing the stage with the first concert Christmas tree of the year!
